An entire literary estate on the Brittany coast, with a trio of restored houses, fabulous gardens and a private path to the beach

This stunning coastal property comprises three separate houses, sleeping up to fourteen guests across seven bedrooms with a mix of private and shared bathrooms. Every house shares a quietly confident style, built from classic furniture and antiques rescued during years of restoration by the owners.

At the heart of the estate stands the largest of the houses, once home to the celebrated French author Colette, where original kitchen tiles and shelving marry beautifully with smart equipment for cooks preparing celebratory meals together. The sitting and dining area can accommodate a large group with room to spare, and opens onto a gravelled terrace with the finest view on the estate, looking straight down to the sea.

Expect long evenings that drift outdoors, whether a convivial shared meal under the stars or everyone gathered for games on the beach as the tide turns.

Colette and RozVen - Discover the landscapes that inspired Colette’s The Ripening Seed: La Touesse beach, Le Meinga, the dunes, rocks and great tides. RozVen was her Breton retreat from 1910 to 1926.
