Come for the utter peace and quiet in this cosy cottage with amazing views and private walks to explore on the Bodnant Estate

You can practically feel the world falling away in this secluded haven surrounded by fields and woodland. Time slows down, the hubbub of life is but a distant memory, and only the rustling of trees and the occasional bleat of a nearby sheep breaks the silence.

Inside the cottage, stone walls and reclaimed furniture give it bags of character. Underfloor heating and squishy sofas around the fireplace are warm and inviting. French windows lead to the garden, where you can sit with your morning coffee and take in the views.

Upstairs, two generous double bedrooms – one ensuite – offer flexible sleeping arrangements (a zip-link bed can be a king or two singles), with crisp white linens to sink into and views over the garden. On your doorstep, private paths winding through the estate are perfect for quiet walks. Cook up a storm in the spacious kitchen or go al fresco with a barbecue on the patio outside.

Bodnant Garden is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in the UK, spanning 80 acres. There are 5 terraces to explore within the gardens. Sumptuously planted, there is something to see all year - roses, rhododendrons, waterfalls, and the famous Laburnum Arch.
The Welsh Mountain zoo is set in 37 acres of gardens above the town of Colwyn Bay and perfect for families. The zoological gardens offer breathtaking scenery, and panoramic view across the bay as you wander around the pathways admiring and learning about the animals in the zoo’s collection.
Trefriw Woollen Mills is a family run business that still manufactures traditional Welsh "tapestry and tweeds. These are all produced using machines which are over 50 years old and powered by a vintage water turbine.
